My path into caregiving wasn’t planned; it came from life itself. From moments that shaped me, from people I’ve loved, from pain I’ve witnessed. I’ve always felt a pull toward helping those who feel forgotten or overwhelmed. And over time, that pull became a purpose.

I remember one man I cared for, who had oxygen tubes, was battling diabetes, high blood pressure, and a deep, quiet exhaustion. One afternoon, he looked at me, eyes full of something I still can’t quite explain, and said, “You are God-sent.” I just nodded. I didn’t have words then. I still don’t. But I carry that moment with me. On the tough days, it reminds me why I keep going.
